Late Jageshwar Chaudhary ( MLA Silli 1962) I would proudly share that he had resigned his seat after 2 years from Silli constituency because he could not give his time to his family and for the sake of education of his children he gave up the seat and continued as the headmaster of childag high school and gave his service to the society , I respect his foresighted vision and its all because of him we are here ! I bet in today's scenario anyone would even dare to sacrifice his seat for the sake of education of his children

विनोद बिहारी महतो – स्वतंत्रता सेनानी रहे विनोद बिहारी महतो को लोग प्यार और आदर से विनोद बाबू कहते हैं। विनोद बाबू ने हीं समाप्त हो चुके झारखंड आंदोलन की एक नये युग की शुरूवात की और उसे तेजी से आगे बढाया जिसमें विचार, क्रांतिकारी आंदोलन, शिक्षा और विकास का समावेश था। इसके लिये इन्होंने झारखंड मुक्ति मोर्चा का गठन किया और संस्थापक अध्यक्ष बने। वे हर काम में सफल रहे। इन्हें झारखंड का भीष्मपितामाह भी कहा जाता है।
